He can say he’s going to release the whole thing if he’s not going to commit to a timeline for it. He’s going to be fired on day one, so if he doesn’t do it before then, it’s not gonna happen. I’m sure anything that does get released is going to be missing anything juicy anyway.

I’ve wondered the same thing. I never minded ads on news articles as long as they were along the side and out of the way of what I was reading. After they started pushing the ads that spring up in the middle of the text I was reading and click-jacked a few times, I switched over to an ad blocker and never looked back. Good journalism needs to be monetized in some way, but I’m not adding another monthly subscription for a single news source and I’m not reading articles from a source that prioritizes the ads over their content the way they have been. I don’t know how we go back from here.

Is musk going to tweet something about a new, futuristic project that Tesla has coming up that he’s just ripping off from an 80s sci-fi movie again so the stock price bumps back up?

My guess is that Trump lacks the critical thinking skills to actually examine himself in a mirror, so when he does, he just thinks he’s great.

This is mine too. Maybe I waited too long to watch it (I only got around to it about 8 years ago). Maybe I wasn’t in the right headspace when I saw it or something, but there’s no way I’m sitting through again that for another three hours to find out. I heard the sequel was better, so I started watching that shortly after I saw the first one and I made it about half an hour and thought, “I’ve got better things to do with my time than to see this one through,” and turned it off.

They won’t know about it until it personally affects them, then they’ll play the victim card.

For sure this is going to happen; the only thing they took away from this election was that they can say whatever they want and push back on any kind of fact checking and they’ll just get rewarded for it.

If only there was something he could have done to stop it.

You should be able to check what airplane your flight uses. The last few times I’ve flown, I’ve been able to sort by airbus. It might be site dependent though.

Yup, that’s my line in the sand for rioting. I’m comfortable, but if they take away something that I’ve paid into my whole life and fuck my retirement over, I won’t stand for it.

Sometimes that’s all they have open (Home Depot) so you do have to go to them. If these companies can save a buck by having you ring yourself up, they will.

These things are so they don’t have to pay people to check out your groceries anymore. There’s not much convenience in them when you’re buying produce and have to go through multiple pages to find the item you’re scanning in or god forbid the barcode doesn’t read or put something in the bagging area too quickly and then you have to stand there looking stupid while an employee comes over to help you because the machine encountered an error and won’t let you continue scanning your stuff.

Right, that was the point in my response to the comment above.

Didn’t they just push that functionality out in beta on the Portal?
