I’m glad to see he’s addressing our nation’s highest priorities.

What a ridiculous world we’re living in that someone who does a full on nazi salute in front of millions of people is facing no consequences for his actions, but someone who criticized him has lost her job.

I don’t know why it took me until this thumbnail to realize it, but this guy always looks like a zombie.

Help us out and do it again.

I think you’re giving him too much credit; he doesn’t have a history of thinking things out past what’s in his immediate vicinity (if at all). I think he sees a bunch of undeveloped land and wants it. Then he’d be associated with adding that much more land to the US.

Yeah, I’m in the same spot. I’m just glad I don’t have children so they’d be subjected to what’s coming.

He’s for sure going to say that global warming isn’t happening because they had to move in from the cold.

I don’t know that it’ll get rid of the problem entirely. I had an argument with one of my friends a few years ago who posted a picture of a gas pump and included “let’s go Brandon” in the caption. After explaining that the president had little to do with the high gas prices at the time and it was more that OPEC was producing an artificial shortage by keeping refineries closed, my friend informed me that he was a political science major in college, so he knows how gas prices work.

He’ll also be the oldest ever, assuming he makes it his full term.

Yeah, I was confused why Reuters would be editorializing so much.

It also spreads so much faster; I’ll always hear the lie from someone before I get the chance to look it up for myself, so I can’t refute it.

Same here. I don’t know why it’s not an issue for the people that voted for him though, especially because they made such a stink about Biden’s. Oh wait, I forgot…they’re hypocrites.

My point was that age only became a talking point in regard to Biden and that’s the only person in the aforementioned gerontocracy that seems to have been affected by the younger voters being fed up, so we’re essentially saying the same thing.

But why single out “the left?” Grassley won reelection two years ago and he’s 91 and afaik plans to run again in 2028.

I think they’re seeing trump as a tool they can use if they play his game, so they’re all falling in line. They’re too big that it’s not going to hit their bottom line much and no one in government is going to stop them, so maybe they’re just going to grab as much as they can while they have the opportunity and that requires them to be brazen.

I agree with a lot of these points, but the one about the gerontocracy; I don’t understand how people have a problem with biden’s age but are seemingly fine with trump, who will claim the title of oldest president ever in this next term assuming he doesn’t die in office. (Not saying that I’m inferring that this applies to you from your post btw, just an observation about how everyone says Biden is too old, but the argument hasn’t been effectively used against trump for some reason.)

This many billionaires and big companies grouping together doesn’t seem like it’s going to be good for us.

And banning those advertisements.
