You aren't wrong. But being a social media influencer is something almost no one would accidentally fall into. People who do it intentionally are doing it to chase a dream of fame and fortune and glamor - but because there is a limited amount of attention in the world and it is highly concentrated, you are really rolling the dice on a dream if you decide to commit to it. There is a very high probability that even if you put your whole heart and soul into it and did everything perfectly, you will still never achieve much more financial success than a child's lemonade stand.
It's basically the same thing as wanting to be a blockbuster film actor or a rock star or an NBA player. If you are struggling and unsuccessful... Well yeah, that's exactly what everyone told you would happen. Go get a different job. And if you are successful and famous and making tons of money - "oh no, boohoo, it must be so hard to be successful beyond your wildest dreams."
In an ideal world, everyone would get along and coordinate effectively in a voluntary manner. There would be no need for any government to enforce laws or provide services.
Iirc, the original definition of an antihero didn't mean a bad guy you root for. It meant a hero in the story that didnt embody the traditional heroic traits of courage, strength, faith in God, noble morality, etc. The antihero is the hero who is not really heroic - a hero who is kind of just a normal person. An example of this being Don Quixote - a man who spent his time fighting dragons and rescuing princesses only in his imagination.
These days, almost all heros outside children's books are antiheros. Because true heros are flat and one dimensional and unrelatable and don't contribute to an engaging plot. These days, it isn't thrilling enough for us to hear how the knight slew the dragon. He must first overcome... I dunno, his childhood trauma or something.... And then he can slay the dragon!
Totally down with that idea. I want to have chickens in my back yard, but I spend a lot of time out of town, so I'd need to figure out how to get my housemates to take care of them when I'm not around.
As an American, I heard that the euros don't refrigerate their eggs. And I thought "well that's good... One less thing to refrigerate!" And I stopped doing it about 15 years ago.
I have not had salmonella once. Worst case is that about once every two years, I crack a rotten egg into my breakfast scramble and it smells like Satan's hangover farts. But ya know, ya win some, ya lose some.

Tinder, Hinge, Bumble. That's what people are on. Maybe there is something else popular in your area - ask your friends. If you try to go somewhere else (unless you are trying to fit a specific niche like being gay or kinky or a farmer) then you will miss out on most of the online dating market. And spoiler: it will be the good part you are missing out on. The guys you want to match with aren't making accounts on "random dating app lolz", because there is no one there so it is a waste of time.
Or the other option: all kids are equally capable of being dicks to each other. It just depends who has social capital. Kids who have the traits necessary to gain social capital - intelligence, athleticism, attractiveness, confidence, etc - end up on top of the social hierarchy in school and also end up going farther in life.
Probably Argentina. Maybe SE Asia. But honestly, where ever all my friends decided to move, since we'd prob drag each other to one place or another. Although most likely scenario there is that we'd become a travelling commune with no official country. If the US actually collapsed, I'd lose a ton of money and would need to find some kind of work, so I'd hit up my connections and probably get a remote software gig. Idk, I'll figure it out when it happens.
This seems like a flaw in the design of the platform...
