I honestly doubt they will. I think immigration could be 0 but as long as they see stories about brown people and "woke nonesense" then they'll complain. Ultilmately I think their dream, although they'll never say it, is that they want to ship any immigrants from the past 30 years away.
This keeps catching me out and it's so annoying. Even more so when the cashier has to do something manual on the terminal to attempt the payment again.
What happened to just needing to unlock the device?
I think it's just a matter of time before it starts being removed from places where it just isn't useful. For now companies are just throwing it at everything to see what sticks. WhatsApp and JustEat added AI features and I have no idea why or how it could be used for those services and I can't imagine people using them.
Thanks. I'm never quite sure what to believe on these schemes, they sound good and have all the right aims but I can never be sure if the complaints against them are just locals that will moan no matter what, or if there's genuine issues that the local authorities just try to suppress because they want to implement the scheme no matter what.
I dunno what your situation is, but would cycling that previous 7 minute journey be an option? I guess that's what the scheme tries to promote but understand it's not always practical.
That's absolutely crazy! Insane that the land can just "slip" like that. Imagine how much pressure must have been building for the plate to finally move.
I'm definitely all for PR, but hasn't FPTP hurt smaller parties like Reform/UKIP in the past? There was an election where UKIP received millions of votes but only secured a couple of seats. PR could potentially make it easier for parties like Reform to gain power.
Are your tyres big enough?
