If it’s dirty, I wipe it with a microfiber cloth. I don’t wash it or anything, after all I’m the only one touching it and I wash hands and keep regular hygiene. If I’d be working in a hospital or other place where increased hygiene would be necessary, I’d do it more often. When I still work in the kitchen, I just left my phone in my locker, washed my hands before my shift (and during of course) and it’s not realy a big deal.
Capitalism isn’t the problem here, it’s unregulated capitalism that doesn’t work.
Also, you can dislike it but so far, capitalism tampered with socialism, is the best system we have so far. The best Countries in terms of human happines and opportunities (think the Scandinavian states especially and most of central europe generally) are capitalist democracies. We however realised, unlike the US, that you can’t just let corporation do anything they wan and that the state has an obligation to provide services and help to it’s people.
This anti-capitalist sentiment os so common and not really founded in reality that it feels like a mere buzz word at this point.
I can’t wait to see the day when we actually have a solid curr for most cancers and it becomes no less leathal than the flu after we invented vaccines or infections after the discovery of penicillin…
To many amazing people die this agonizing and cruel death…
I have my phone in the front right pocket of my jeans, with some microfibre cloth in the litle watch pouch for my glasses and screens, while my wallet, business cards, keys and mints live on the left front side.
No and I never liked it. I tried going to the gym for a while to lose weight but I felt horrible afterwards and during the excersice and the actual Impact on my obesity was quite minimal (probably my fault as I‘m sure I didn’t do everything right). So i stoped going eventually. I know started walking more, I don’t take the bus from the train station home anymore and rather walk the 3.5km with some nice podcast oj my ears. I like doing it, even atvthe current temperatures as I feel like a get 45 minutes just for me where I don’t have to listen to anyone or anything other than my podcasts I enjoy. I work ij Retail so there’s a constant barrage of people and at the end of the day you just don’t want to see people for a while. So while it does help my weight loss it also just feels kinda therapeutic in a way. I just crossed 120kg (down from 136) this morning and plan to try to extend my walks to my days of as well :-)
No we just drop an ice cube into the ocean from time to time. And then the next time we make that ice cube bigger than the on last time. And that will solve our provlems once and for all.
The only time I ever saw one of these was as the side exit to our local Zoo. However it was part of the fence and right next to this thing was a gate that could be opened by staff (probably for Accesibility and maintenance reasons). Puting this as the entrance to a cafeteria is just useless…
Also, telling people that they will be tortured for etwrnity (hell) or should be outright executed (botht things religious people have done repeatedly) is ultimately bigoted and hateful. If I keep telling you that you will burn for etirnity for who you are, that is nothing short of hate.
So, should these groups be allowed to exist? Sure, I‘m all for bad arguments being publicly shared so that they can be properly scrutinized and discussed.
Just don’t expect that people will not call you out for the hateful and bigited things your holy book advocates for.
Denial, at least for me. I still have a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that anyone could be that stupid and eager to destroy it’s most active part of the user base…
And the fact that it’s Reddit, a Site I always preceived as community driven and kinda above those corporate shenanigans, I still have hopes some saner heads might prevail. Although that seems increasingly unlikely by the minute…
Hefty but if you can keep using them I think the investement kinda quickly pays off I’d assume. Hope it’s gonna be the same as with watch bands and those things stay compatible over a lot of generations. I think I’d buy them once but buying them again and again for each generation I may end up buying would suck…
Beaides what others said about wild berrys and plants, keep in mind that the live expectancy was 30-40 while most people didn’t even survive until their 5th year of age.

People shouldn’t obsess over germs that much.
