And the 1 century death cult is better in what way exactly? Just wanna remind you that those modesty rules where prevalent in Christianity as well as. Maybe not always to the same degree but the church had very interesting thoughts about woman wearing pants or showing their ankles.

If you are religious, no matter the denomination, you‘d better not be poking fun at other religions for their quirks. Yours is just as silly and baseless as the others.

Also, not all muslims follow those strict rules just as very few christians would still shun you for eating shrimp or living with someone before marriage.

Surely anecdotal, but I have never clicked on a Google Reddit link that didn’t let me to an actual post, most of the time with the actual info I was hoping to find and never have I been served SEO pages.

There was a slight influx of AI generated nonsense a couple months back but that stopped. On my iPhone i Use DuckDuckGo and an perfectly happy. On the Mac where I have more ways to block stuff I use google and also don’t have any issues.

It does. And also just plain old bribing. I work for a big Tech Company, and while I‘m only a Retail employee, I have been offered quite some money throughout the years to share my logins (which honestly wouldn’t get you very far). People with more acces than me (Managment or Support employees) apparently received offers in upper 5 Digit territories. If you ask enough people, I‘m not 100% confident that all would say no to that. But to be fair, there’s a lot of hurdles now in between those things with acces being restricted to internal networks, multi factor and trusted device policies a real crackdown on who has access to what. Passwords allone don’t get you very far anymore.

For the most part our family has decided to not get gifts this year. We just spend time together, eat something nice and enjoy each other, except for the one child in our family that of course still gets something.

For my wifes side of the family, we decided to do secret santa this year and cap ourselfs at 30.- CHF for value.

In Switzerland every male between 18 and 40 that hasn’t actively decided against it, has an assault riffle under their bed (for some that’s meant literally…). Althoughwe don’t let them have ammunition as well.

Anyway, you can buy guns here and people do. It’s just not that we think we need them to defend ourselves against the government (which judging by the power of the us military is totally ridiculous anyway). We also don’t allow you to carry it around, let alone loaded ones.

America is a ridiculous cesspool of stupidity, missed educational opportunities and weird, culty patriotism that guns are somehow a part of. The internet made it easier tk spread this and so conservatives have been more successful in spreading their crap around.

By that logic, the kids’ parents have jobs so they can buy their own kids their own goddamn candy.

Never actually thought about that, but your totally right… I too drive with my left… Allthough I’m not sure if that’s because of the transmission cars I drove until I got my Tesla 3 years back or just because I can rest my arm on the door while holding the wheel.
