I haven't played this game in a while and no longer have it installed, but I only play in Linux and I'm pretty certain this is how I got portraits in my game.

At my last job, the men's locker room and bathroom were on the left. It had three sets of bathrooms and two sets of locker rooms, and they were always on the left. At my current job, the men't bathroom is on the left in two out of four buildings. In one building, the bathrooms are on opposite sides of a hall, so what side they're on depends on which direction you came from. At the restaurant I am currently sitting in, though, the men's restroom is on the right.

I'm conflicted by this comment thanks to Poe's Law.

Oh, no, I agree. I don't consider ignoring rules "human error" when it is intentional. Management ordering a faulty safety to be disabled then getting someone hurt because the safety was disabled is so much worse than an error. Much worse, when I saw this happen, management then blamed the guy who disabled the safety.

I'd be impressed if that statue remains un-vandalized for long without significant security.

Either that, or the processes weren't followed. At least, that's been my experience with regulatory stuff.

I was amused to learn it existed. I worked in a cold warehouse but the battery room (where they charge the forklifts) was always too cold, so they put a Big Ass Fan in to push the warm air down from the ceiling. "Wait, is that really its name?" Yup.

The assembly shop I work in now has two of these fans. Feels like once I learned they existed, I started seeing them everywhere.

Started a campaign in XCOM 2, using the Long War of the Chosen mod, along with Mod Jam. XCOM is one of those games I've revisited regularly over the years, and mods help keep it fresh. Found out the person who made Mod Jam is taking a break and someone else made a replacement already - TedJam. Maybe I'll play another campaign after this one using TedJam instead.

Fair enough. However, they should release the footage regardless. Especially since 4 people got shot, 2 of which were bystanders, and that this was over a cheap fare. Cops are pretty untrustworthy.

So Israel deployed snipers using lethal ammunition to target protesters with excessive force. In this case, a US citizen. For some reason, this event reminds me of the Boston Massacre. Protesting the slaughter means you get slaughtered too.

I'm guessing we've abandoned all pretext of a red line that Israel can cross and they're free to do whatever, and the whole situation just feels like we've decided that we're on the side of evil because we keep supporting this. Might as well start putting skulls on our caps.

I have a similar story, except the people I asked about it convinced me it might be a scam. I bought some later, but it wasn't the lifechanging amount it could've been.

Looking at other sources, it looks like they're shipping them to other counties. Now they're homeless somewhere else. How heartwarming.
