The current state of affairs is the justification employers use for continuing to test and discipline folks for usage even in legal or medically legal states. It's also the justification banks use for not allowing dispensaries to use their services.

Technically Roe was a shakey foundation. It really reached to make abortion covered by the bill of rights. Best thing was to rip the bandaid off and get people pissed. Hopefully it leads to federal law adoption or better yet a new Amendment.

Controversial case after controversial case exposes police lies by their own bodycam, security cam, or bystander cam.

Police clearly do lie, and rarely do I read an article that involves those lies being corrected without them being forced to acknowledge them by video from a camera they don't or can't control.

Walter Scott was the first lesson I learned this way, and I could not even begin to count how many like that since then just that I personally have become aware of. (And I somehow doubt I am aware of them all)

Nothing to add except to also point out that even where there are consequences, these are usually settlements paid by taxpayers. No incentive to change behavior when there's no impact even at the departmental level.

Fair enough. Fact remains - they are bombing hospitals (among other civilian targets) and I keep being directly or indirectly called an anti-semite for refusing to say it's OK.

Doesn't really matter if they are "trying to" or not when they do it.

So in other words, whatever the number of dead innocents is which might give you pause (and you aren't sure such a number even exists) it's definitely more than are being killed currently.

Ok that's great. Where's the evidence that's going to convince me it's OK to bomb a hospital full of sick and wounded because of what Hamas is doing in their vicinity?
