  • Senate Republicans don't seem to have a legislative agenda to block. Tax bills are passed through reconciliation which isn't subject to a cloture vote, meaning it can't be filibustered.

  • As the mod of a couple of sports communities it would be nice to have some more automated content being posted (like game-day match threads, player trades, etc). However, I have yet to receive a response from sportsbots to any of my requests for adding league and team accounts to be mirrored. I don't think I'd want every one of their microblog post to show up in the communities, though.

  • The thing is, he had his whole presidency to pull out of Afghanistan, and then didn't. All he did was negotiate a political time bomb for his predecessor. Biden is the one who actually pulled the troops out. You should care that it was botched because it was done so on purpose, by Trump, at the negotiating table. Credit for actually pulling out goes too Biden.

  • A major factor in the country falling is because the US didn't include the Afghan government in the discussions to release 5000 Taliban fighters right before leaving the country.

Edit: what I should have added explicitly is they saw all that and just said fuck this and went AWOL rather than fight.

  • Though I give him some credit for negotiating US withdrawal from Afghanistan

He negotiated with the Taliban and didn't include the actual Afghan government in the discussion. He setup an intentional clusterfuck to take place after the election in the event of his loss. No credit is deserved for this.

  • We all knew it was going to be Kamala or Trump no matter what. The last 3rd party candidate to win a single EV vote was Wallace in 1968. Ross Perot won like 19% of the popular vote and zero EC votes. Across the entirety of all state and federal legislative offices, fewer than 1% are held by 3rd party candidates. Third party isn't happening without electoral reform, and you won't get that by losing elections. The voters and non-voters collectively put Trump in office.

  • No I care that Trump is giving Israel more weapons, more money, open approval for genocide, and now floating US troops doing the genocide directly instead of humanitarian aid and logistics. But you haven't let reality influence so far so I don't expect it to now either.

  • Trump reversed Biden's economic sanctions on Israeli occupiers in illegal settlement.

Trump reversed Biden's withholding of shipments of 2000 lb bombs.

Trump is now saying instead of a 2 state solution that all Palestinians should be forcibly removed from Gaza, and that the US should own it.

Trump is further declining to assert that no US troops would be involved in the forcible removal of Palestinians from their land.

In what fucking lunatic universe is any of this better for Palestinians?

  • Keep on keepin on against the cold hard face of reality.

  • Womp womp indeed, but not even remotely for the reasons you intended.

  • The first two were crackin. The 3rd one with Jean Reno and time travel was a bit odd. I don't think I finished what came next and the series dropped off my radar until the recent Netflix series. I'm excited about the new 'Way of The Sword' game. Might go back and check out the 2019 Warlords remaster.

  • From your pre-election anti-Biden post history I can't tell if you're womp womp is actually blaming Biden/Harris or if you're calling out the anti-Biden/Harris crowd (which you were a vocal member of at least towards Biden before he dropped).

  • Also I hope that its clear that spending money on healthcare while not providing healthcare does not make it any better.

    Duh.

  • US government spends more per capital on healthcare than all those nations with fancy universal healthcare.
