This is all predictable. By next summer, besides more immigration crimes, we'll have food and product shortages, massive tariff-driven inflation, an economy roiling over his constant market manipulation, Luigi's trial, arrests of prominent politicians and resistors, etc. There will be protests against all of these issues and more, and he will use those protests to stir up trouble and create violence.

By next summer it will get really ugly, and he'll declare Martial Law, and suspend the Midterm election, so he can preserve his Congressional majorities.

Without Skum to rig the election, he will have no choice but to go with the Martial Law option.

I had those issues before the doctor diagnosed GERD/Reflux, and prescribed medication. Now I take a Famotidine every day, twice if I've had something particularly spicy. I never have that problem anymore.

I finally did something about it when I aspirated in the middle of the night, like you did. It can actually give you pneumonia, which happened to me.

BTW, a banana can act as a pretty good acid treatment in a pinch., like in the middle of the night.

Also, which side you sleep on makes a difference, too. Your esophagus goes straight down the middle of your chest, until it reaches your stomach, which makes a left turn. So when you sleep on your left side, the opening to the esophagus is above the stomach, making it difficult for food to slip into it.

But if you sleep on your right side, your stomach is above the opening, and any undigested contents are up against that opening.. if it's weak, or opens, gravity draws that food into your esophagus, causing reflux.

So sleeping on your left side is preferred.

If the Federal Government boycotts California, then California should close every Federal agency, prohibit all Federal employees from working, and confiscate all Federal property, then make it illegal to pay Federal income taxes in California. Instead, Federal income taxes will be collected by the state, and used to provide free health care and college for all California citizens.

They should also form a state pact with Oregon and Washington, then form an alliance with Canada and Mexico. That would surround about 3/4 of the USA

Listen to this judge bitching about how long this is taking, when it's HIS JOB to manage the case. If it's not going right, it's directly his fault. Force the defendant to pay up by a certain date, or hold him, and his lawyers, in contempt, while the court directs the final disposal of his assets as they sit in jail.
