Librewolf just gives me more sane defaults. Saves me trouble of having to dig in to about:config and trying to figure out what needs to be changed. Generally its releases follow FireFox in reasonable time. A few updates have messed things up, but it's rare. I guess the big thing is that Librewolf saves me some effort.
It's a combination of FireFox being the least shit and the most functional option, really. Still kind of shit by default, so I go for Librewolf. Also I've been using it since Firebird.
Do not believe their lies. Do not accept their token gestures. Abandon them. Let them burn. If you tolerate this your children will be next. Trust no one.
Yeah, Gentoo is a good way to get your hands dirty. Reading the guide and trying to dig in deeper as to what you're doing will give you a decent understanding of Linux.
When I was a kid, my grandfather would record cartoon movies from TV to VHS and when we visited I'd watch those. One of them was an adaptation of Animal Farm. Of course I was way too young to understand any deeper implications of the work, but it did leave a deep impression on me. It is not suitable viewing for young kids.
As an adult I read the book and I really enjoyed it. I join OP in recommending it. It is also not a long book, so it's not a serious time investment if you don't happen to enjoy it.
Yeah, if you need to install extensions to make GNOME usable, GNOME is not for you. Seriously, there are other options. I can't stand using GNOME, but they have a vision they are sticking to and I can respect that.
