  • It's ridiculous! Even my giant office in the city is sticky inside, almost feels like there's condensation on every surface..

  • Just got back from a hike in Kinglake, the whole place was covered in a super dense fog. Also had to cut the hike short because the leeches were insane, so much so it began freaking my hiking partner out.

  • Even after a good breakfast I've not managed to expuge some last night's awful sleep. Feel ridiculously groggy and lethargic, ughhh!

  • Radar reckons I'll get a bit at 9pm, but I'm calling bullshit right now.

  • I wait with bated breath!

  • Where-o where-o where is rain, where could rain be...

  • 3rd last office day before holidays!!! The holiday fever is real, next week better zoom by.

  • Trackies should never be worn outside the home unless they are being worn for exercise.

  • Pick up a bunch on the cheap the other day as well.

I think I read somewhere that farmers were culling in prep for the summer heat being insane this year, so the price is predicted to drop right down for a bit.

  • Oh yeah, like I'm not actually worried, just silly over thinking brain doing it's thing.

I've already put two thousand k's on her since I picked her up a few months back, honestly find the ride more comfy then some of the Patrols my Dad had.

  • I've decided he needs an occupation and to start contributing to the bills.

  • Mitsubishi Pajero NT 09 (diesel). She's as clean as a whistle (apart from needing a suspension upgrade), just put her in for a once-over before the big holiday driving starts. Usually, I do something like this myself, but my calendar is a little full at the moment, and to be honest, I felt like being lazy.

  • Car has been dropped at the mechanic, now to chill (aka freak out because what IF something is magically wrong with it) for a few hours since old mate reckons it'll be done by 12pm.

  • Oh shit! New fear unlocked!

  • Anyone else strip their car before dropping it at the mechanic? Was on the phone to a mate while I pulled all my 4x4 recovery gear/tools, first aid kit, little knick knacks, and my current car-drobe out and he thought I was being weird.

I just feel weird about someone seeing all that stuff even though it's just normal stuff to have. Plus you know clumsy hands might start gropping if they get curious enough.

  • This was also a fear of mine, especially since we had a very recent covid case. I'm hoping the outdoor dining situation will aid a little in keeping it at bay.

  • Can't stop thinking about my upcoming holidays!

Also regrettably said yes to my workplace's Christmas party, I'm new and need to mingle and handshake even though I don't want to.

  • Just did the weekly shop, and jesus fuck! At this point I'm seeing a $20-$40 per week increase, and that's with substitutions for lower priced items or just plain going without.

I feel like I'm going insane when I see an item I bought a week ago suddenly double the price.

  • Did the adult thing and booked the car in for a little service before the holidays start and I'm doing lots of big trips. Got quoted $400 for the whole thing, but everyone knows that's never the end figure. Also, know they are going to say the shocks and suspension need doing, but it has to wait because it's having a face lift soon so I'd rather do it then with its updated weight.

  • She's a bit moist! Guess it'll be indoors activities for me today 😪
