When you die, your brain dumps dopamine and you enter a euphoric state in the brief moments before you’re technically dead.
Time is relative for every entity, according to the theory of general relativity. I posit that as you die, your personal timeline extends to infinity. The state of euphoria is therefore permanent to you, the experiencer. It’s not heaven, but for you it might feel like it.
It absolutely infuriates me when people in the Costco parking lot don’t use the cart corrals, and just tip the front 2 wheels up on some curb. It’s so fucking lazy and selfish, but then that’s the Costco for you.
Also, what kind of asswipe parks in the cart corral? Oh, right, Costco.
Gold + “god”+ trump = another easy scam on the rubes. You’d think his morons would run out of money at some point, but I guess there are so many it doesn’t matter.
I just use the apps (pages, keynote, numbers) that come with MacOS. They can open and save office formats, and gets the job done for everyday stuff. Not for the power user, but most people aren’t. Also, keynote is better than PowerPoint.
To be fair, a large slice of the user base is in the US and currently everything is collapsing around us. It should come as no surprise that we complain about it a lot. The mods of various communities could certainly enforce rules more; e.g. in shitposting or memes, remove any political content. It would help the situation.
I’ve been using as an impetus to pick up a book instead, or do something constructive. I get my shot of dopamine, but since it has an end I am forced to do other things.
