I used OpenVPN for years and deployed it across numerous places I worked and at home, amazing project. I feel a bit guilty for switching to wireguard a couple years back but it really is amazingly fast.
This is amazing! I hope it stays compatible with the EPEL repositories. I see no reason not to start using it when available. If it maintains compatibility I could see Rocky or Alma starting to follow this as well.
For me it’s backwards compatibility with the Switch. I wouldn’t upgrade if I couldn’t play BOTW or TOTK on it. After that just more powerful graphics so I don’t get stutters in some games.
Doesn’t sound like retaliation to me, it sounds like their scheduled web crawlers are finding that content they used to index is now no longer viewable and this removed from search results. Pretty standard. My guess is that there were 400 million URLs listed and as the crawler uncovers that they are no longer available, that number will keep dropping to reflect only content publicly viewable. If only 500 URLs are now publicly viewable (without logins) then that’s what they will index. Google isn’t a search engine for private companies (unless you pay for the service) they are a public search engine so they make an effort to ensure that only public information is indexed. Some folk game the system (like the old expertsexchange.com) but sooner or later google drops the hammer.
I still can’t figure out why I can upvote posts in Memmy but not in Liftoff. I’m Liftoff it keeps responding that I need to be logged into the server but Memmy just lets me upvote. It’s definitely something I am doing wrong but showcases the immense value of app choice.
No kidding. Who is honestly against moves like this? I mean very few issues are black and white and defending Ukraine is as close to being on the right side of history as one can get. They were invaded by a much larger country that suppressed them for so long. They are a democracy that is trying really hard to further the will of their people. Russians are committing genocide against the local population. Supporting Ukraine and watching the Ukrainians fight back for their freedom is one of the few great parts of history that inspires.
