I think they way most people see it is that anyone in their right mind has a point where murder is okay. WWII, for example - the vast majority of people understand it was okay to kill Nazis. The context was that the world had no choice but to go to war with them. It was either kill or be killed.

We're in the same situation here in the United States. Our political system is broken. Politicians are bought and sold by the 1%, and they will continue to kill us en masse no matter how many peaceful protests we join and whoever we vote for.

How? "Missing out" means you're the one who is negatively impacted. It also says and Gen Z. Not sure how that could be interpreted otherwise.

That whole post they didn't even have one sentence that clearly states what theyre doing. I assume it's "now we'll make Ecosia one of the default choices".

Can anyone here who's gotten one comment on the vasectomy process? I've been pretty nervous seeing a lot of the comments about it. I don't even do well with a normal blood draw. I feel like I'd need general anesthesia for this.

AFAIK that would mean ChatGPT and each website (not Firefox) would decide that itself. Firefox doesn't do it since a website may need it.

It wouldn't need to be proprietary. The logic could just be "remove everything". Not sure how the Google Inc thing appeared.

Stripping metadata is up to the website / app, not the OS. Many apps use metadata, some don't. If they don't need the metadata and decide to do the right thing, then they'll strip it.

Also upload my Android photos to Ente Photos and the metadata is preserved (thankfully).

I mean, I 100% agree with this one. If I'm going to be at work eight hours a day, five days a week, I better damn well enjoy it.

I'm a software dev, too, but have always left companies / teams soon after a Lumbergh took over. That was always a very good career move for me, and I am almost always pretty excited to go to work.

Plus, Lumberghs will be there for things you don't enjoy as well. That would just make it harder, at least for me.

Basically everything is connected in many ways. To be a great cook you need to learn math, history, science, biology, etc.

There are plenty of institutions which allow you to only take courses relevant to your degree, but they are trade schools.

What you're describing sounds like a liberal arts school. That's kind of the point, at least for undergrad.

Id argue the bigger issue is that money has the ability to influence politics at all. We need to remove it completely.

You don't use a metal scrubber to clean. Just a bit of citric acid and boil again and it's good as new. I have no idea what distiller you bought but catching fire is not a thing with any normal distiller like this.

I only use citric acid once every 7-10 batches.

I've been using this one for over ten years and it's amazing. Don't need to buy any filters at all, it's very simple and has just one button. Distilling is supposed to be even better than RO, too.

I've been drinking mainly distilled water the whole time and I'm totally fine. The stuff about it being bad for you is nonsense.

Competing with ice and snow can be far less stressful, dangerous, and depressing than competing with other humans and tons of other species.
