What's a great buy it once Android app?
Most excellent! 🦉
It's interesting how they are using this case.
US vs Watts decided this wasn't a violation of so, but it's still a crime of which they were not found guilty of beyond a reasonable doubt.
The 2 situations used in the case was a man being charged with possession and also with growing marijuana in his home as 2 separate charges,.and a womannhlwho had been acquitted of selling cocaine once, who was then later convicted for selling cocaine on another occasion, but was sentenced for both.
In the case this post is about, the guy was coerced into a confession where evidence proving his innocence was withheld from the defense, and the judge still thought he was getting off easy and convicted him of selling crack and the murder of a cop during a drug deal.
It sounds like now even though he's acquitted of the murder, they're still trying to keep him in jail on the other added on charges, if I'm reading things correctly.
Did Superbowl make the cut? 😉
I kinda wish they didn't keep the pun as a few have blocked it not knowing what it's really about.
There's just not enough stuff to focus only on subscribed only, and there still seems to be a good number of new communities popping up.
I do have most meme communities filtered out, as it was just too overwhelming for everything else, but that's about it.
I want to see all the threads I can where I may have something to add to help other communities develop.
I'll check Subscribed quick at the end of the day to make sure I didn't miss anything that I really do want to see.
It is a fishnet pattern keffiyeh (Palestinian headdress), as she seems to be wearing it around a lot to appear as the most pro-Palestinian candidate.
From NPR
Some say patterns on the keffiyeh symbolize different aspects of Palestinian life: the bold black stripes on the edges symbolize the historical trade routes that used to go through Palestine; the fishnet-like design represents the Palestinians' ties to the Mediterranean Sea; and the curvy lines resemble olive trees, a major point of pride for Palestinians.
Though none of these claims can be backed up by historical evidence, over the past 10 years they've become embraced by Palestinians in the diaspora to be the meaning behind their keffiyeh's patterns.
The full report lists suggested practices to mitigate the damage we do, from more ecologically minded agricultural practices and shifts in our diet to accelerating development and funding of renewable energy and delivering it to the third world, as they are many times left with only the worst fuels to use for everything.
It's all things that require large amounts of money with great long term but no short term benefits for those with money, a slight bit of personal inconvenience as we as societies learn more planet healthy habits, and a small amount of compassion for those less well off than us, most likely due to a lack of compassion in the past.
I will not be holding my breath...
The full report is worth a glance, as it's divided into sections where it looks at individual continents and discusses some of their unique problems. I mainly stuck to reading the proposed solutions sections, as I have reached my limit on dealing with all the different impending dooms going on recently. Even the countries that are doing some good changes are still not fully committing to it, even as they see positive results. We're past the point of being able to wade into this stuff. But with worldwide societies trending towards more selfish and nationalist tendencies, I feel things will continue to worsen for the remaining half of my life.
I try not to be a downer about it, but it's hard when I see and read about it every day.
Ah, good, I was tempted to say a little more but held back. Lots of great stuff ahead if you havent seen it yet!
No, I was not aware of any extras.
I may be misremembering on the pacing. I do remember liking season 2 more, though at first when I saw they were going to magic school I was worried what direction things were going to go in, but I really enjoyed Chise making friends and Elias's attempts and the accompanying adventure. The school felt like a real place, not just an excuse to do magic things.
I've seen some comments here saying they didn't when Frieren took a diversion to magic school, and I felt the same at first again, but I think they did enough unique things with it as well.
Gang members “came in shooting and breaking into the houses to steal and burn. I just had time to grab my children and run in the dark,” said 60-year-old Sonise Mirano on Sunday, who was camping with hundreds of people in a park in the nearby coastal city of Saint-Marc.
Similar ones [gang attacks] have taken place in the capital of Port-au-Prince, 80% of which is controlled by gangs, and they typically are linked to turf wars, with gang members targeting civilians in areas controlled by rivals. Many neighborhoods are not safe, and people affected by the violence have not been able to return home, even if their houses have not been destroyed.
More than 700,000 people — more than half of whom are children — are now internally displaced across Haiti, according to the International Organization for Migration in an Oct. 2 statement. That was an increase of 22% since June.
Port-au-Prince hosts a quarter of the country’s displaced, often residing in overcrowded sites, with little to no access to basic services, the agency said.
This is a key difference that certain parties leave out when discussing "illegal immigration." These people aren't coming here to take your country or your job or whatever you imagine the case to be. They are asylum seekers, not just from Haiti, but anywhere that this type of situation is daily life. They don't want to come to America, they want their own homes to be safe, but they are not, nor will they be in the foreseeable future.
If anyone in America, England, Germany, Greece, etc was in the same situation, they would be doing the same, because no one would want to live in that or to put their families through this. But all those that want to close off the borders to these people are swatting away those hands reaching out for help. All these major countries did things to help create the situations these people are trying to escape from, but they refuse to own up to it. We did these people dirty and then we ignore them as they die for it.
It's just so frustrating to see, and to not see any country showing us a good example of humanity or compassion.
I like the collar and bow! It looks very modern while still having some age of knights and damsels in high towers charm.
It's a little slow and unevenly paced, but overall I do solidly enjoy it. There are some really great characters and arcs and I especially loved Elias trying to make friends. My girlfriend absolutely loves this show as well, so it's something everyone can watch and enjoy I think.
anon does not judge Drag negatively for having different preferences. anon understands why a dragon person may not enjoy the second half. anon also approves of the kitty. anon and drag find common ground.
I powered through as I kept hearing everyone recommend this. It felt pointless because I didn't get watching a cooking show about stuff you could never eat because it isn't real.
The comments I read said it took a tonal shift when they finally got back to the red dragon. It's about halfway through, which took me weeks to get to.
The second half is awesome! If this is what it was like all along, it would have been amazing. The first half gives you nothing to expect what the second half is, which makes it feel more intense, but I still feel is kinda terrible pacing.
I want more now because the characters really are good, which is probably why they used that first half the way they did, but it was tough before seeing where it was going. Frieren had a much better buildup before it really started getting serious for example.
I agree with hand washing as best to prevent any chains catching in lacey bits. If daily is a pain, maybe do it once a week. Just put a little detergent in the bathroom sink and give a few swishes and squeezes and hang them on something like this.
If you do want to toss them in the washer, I'd use a lingerie laundry bag and just toss in a few, again to minimize potential snags or tangles and run on the delicate cycle and hang dry. It'd suck to toss a bunch in loose and pull out a big tangled ball. 😧
The Yuketen stuff looks very impressive! I got a kick out of their "Land Jordan" shoe. 😁
I would have also been confused, but then enjoyed the explanation!
It is a very cool looking shirt though!
Well, they are pretty darn nifty!
I hope they're able to fix your heels, and at least when they finally do, the birds will be ready for you.
I'm in the more populous part of Pennsylvania, but when I go to some parts of the state, it can almost feel like another place entirely with the lack of a lot of services.
I had a linen shirt once, and this super hot summer this year had me wanting to give linen another go. It'd be nice to have at least one for occasions that are a little nicer during the summer.
I will second Moon Reader and Web Video Caster.
