  • It was to understand which medication might have lingering effects and which ones might metabolize too quickly. It was specifically focused on ADHD medication.

  • Husband with a wife and three children. They are all on different medications. Two have the same doctor. They all started on something else. One went up on dosage. One burned through dosages until they hit a limit and we had to change. One takes one type of medicine. the other takes 3 in the morning, one in the afternoon, and one in the evening. Two of them we had to get genetic testing to understand what would work best.

    I guess I say all that to say your prescriber and you have to work together and you need to listen to your body and your mind on what's working. What is different when you take something? We had one drug that ended up making one of them have short term memory issues, another one had strange joint pain, all rare side effects.

    Know that there are a lot of options but you do have to sometimes work through them.

  • Got Prometheus and Grafana setup with https on my Talos Linux cluster. Tried to use cert-manager with a DNS01 Challenge with Let's Encrypt but was using a local TLD and found out it won't issue it. So I had to switch to a local issuer. Was using metallb to gain a routable ip, I used the nginx-ingress controller for Prometheus and Grafana. Next time I can tinker I'll place the rest of my services behind it.

  • Got a new coat hanger, the old one had ripped out the wall, repaired the wall and sanded it. Hung up the new one with the correct hardware. Removed everything out of our "playroom", repainted and built out some shelving. Turning the playroom into my new home office. Hopefully finish the move in this coming weekend.
