Ok, I get this and agree. I'd argue though OP probably is genuinely silly. The problem is when you use dating apps, you have to present yourself in some way. Taking pictures of yourself and choosing the good ones is really quite a killer of spontaneity and truthfullness. And everyone knows you want to show off your good sides in the profile. Taking silly pictures with his cousin that he may end up being a bit embarrased about later seems as genuine as it gets.

What you say is not universally true. There are women (I know, being one of them) who are attracted by silly. To me, seeing a man enjoying a silly situation he himself created means I could potentially enjoy something like that with him one day, which is super exciting to me. If OP wants to meet someone to share silly things with, he should include such photo - it's going to filter out the women who are way too serious.

I don't think it's just about possessions for them, it's about power, influence. If he get's slightly poorer, he may no more be able to buy politicians and make them do what he wants.

That's a huge caveat though, I hope it will be solved soon.

In extreme times like these, bravery and suicidal go hand in hand. She wanted to make a point and she did, despite knowing what's going to happen. She was not interested in saving her ass, even though she could do it - she chose not to and deserves respect. Some people feel it's worth it to risk and perhaps even lose their lives for the chance the others will be better off for it. It's a completely different level of bravery than most people are capable of. Sometimes others get offended by that, because they don't understand it or feel like it sets a moral standard they cannot fulfill. The truth is, not everyone has to be this way. But let's at least appreciate it.

This is bravery, not a career step. The part about surviving of what's comming next is too scary. Trans people in jail are already being transported to prisons of their birth gender. She's risking a lot.
