Would you really like to be famous? With all the consequences, good and bad?

Well known entertainers lose all their privacy. I find that terrifying - it's not just normal fans and being recognised everywhere they go - they attract wierdos, sometimes unsettling ones, sometimes dangerous ones. It's ok to have a compensation high enough to be able to afford all the necessary safety measures for both themselves and their famillies.

Yes, there was no peace for quite some time. They were indeed at war with separatist militias in Eastern Ukraine financed by Putin. The difference is just that in 2022 Putin got into the war openly. Well, openly, it was a "special military operation" at first, of course.

This is not strictly true. In many places, even in rural areas, there are still dancing events. They are not galas, they're an analogue for peasants, but everyone's invited if they care to look for the events, just like it always was. Weak puppet with strong army. What makes anyone think stopping aid to Ukraine is all he can do. The sanctions against Russia are going to be lifted next, and if necessary, the aid is going to Russia. Europe has enough power against Russia, but not against Russia + the US.

These are two separate things. Men and women are all human beings and are OF COURSE capable of being shitty or good on the same level. But it's important to give the same opportunity to both, there's no reason one of the sexes should be discriminated against. Women are still not equal in many ways (the exact ways depending on the particular society).
