This one, I did it recently when my girlfriend uninstalled python that was necessary to run the process of creation the image of your kernel in the efi partition and happened the same thing, the update process removed the old images from efi partition but was not able to copy the new.

Very beautiful, I grew up in an isolated countryside area in Brazil, but now I live in the city and this kind of picture always touch my heart, thanks to share, and now I have another place I want to visit.

SteamOS is based on arch linux, and I joke that when someone merge a pull request on github, Arch starts to build their package.

EndevourOS is basically arch linux for beginners, they have their own repositories but just for some tools, just cool stuff.

About Manjaro I would recommend to not use it, not because of the reasons' ppl common raise, for me, it was actually good when I used it, but they try to be "stable" as PopOS in their default branch, so you will never get the latest stuff.

I don't like Nobara because it is based on Fedora, a semi-rolling-release distro, so some packages don't update regularly and wait until next release, they probably update everything related to graphics and games but I do not only play games on my machine, I never used Nobara tho.

Said that, I play a lot more than I should, and I use EndevourOS.

What I would try in your situation (I don't have the game so I can just give ideas):

Firstly I would try to wait a lot of time after I click on play, idk 10 minutes (because of some ppl comments on proton db I'm inclining to believe this blank screen wait until some shader compilation.

Then I would relink my ea account with steam (if it is possible, usually is, unlink and then link again).

Then I would try to run it on 8.0-2 and 7.0x In order.

Then would I close steam and delete the wineprefix, (wineprefix is a C: disk emulation where wine will run this program) on steam folder there is a compatdata folder, inside it you should find the Id of your game, it is the number in the URL of the game in steam store.

Also, I would reboot my system if I had a recent update in the last two sessions, idk why but when I update me endevour sometimes I feel the next session a little unstable until I reboot two times.
