  • Eat with the right, touch anus with the left and always wash hands before you eat. Developed cultures have done this for ages. And they have clean bumholes because they wash instead of only smearing with toilet paper. That shit is disgusting.

Washing can also help against the itchiness. As well as non-synthetic underwear. If those don't help, do indeed see a doctor.

  • Went sailing for a day without any shirt on. Worst sunburn ever. Luckily we had to practice for a musical at school where we would put our arms around eachother at some point, i skipped that part for a bit.

  • I met my partner on an app relatively recently and would not have met them otherwise. It can be a way to meet interesting people that you would not easily come across otherwise.

    But, there are some caveats.

I would recommend trying a few and finding one that fits your interests/people in your area actually use.

Also investigate what the apps do with your data. You are sharing some very personal/sensitive data with them. Make sure they take good care of it.

Some apps seem to be pay-to-win. Do keep that in mind. Also, do keep in mind you are in the minority as a guy. Don't feel discouraged if it takes a long time to get any matches. I notice I can get somewhat addicted to scrolling through the apps and get discouraged when no one seems to like me. If that's the case make sure to not open the app for a while and go outside.

I personally think Feeld is one of the least bad ones, because it is great for different kinds of relationships and that fits me well, as well as they seem to take somewhat value my privacy and data. I also tend to pay for apps I actually use, because when the product is free, I am the product. Remember these companies have costs as well.

Still, nothing beats starting conversations with people in real life. Just be friendly, open, interested and don't expect anything from the other party straight away.

    You'll be fine!

We are not going back to 1992 skeuomorphic design language, are we?!

  • I learned quite a lot of Norwegian by just beig in Norway for three months. I especially enjoyed watching television with the subtitles for the hearing impared turned on.

Another option that the pros (like politicians etc.) like a lot: Nonnen van Vught.

  • I love the idea that stuff should be free, but at the moment we do live a capitalist society and hosting videos especially is a costly enterprise.

I am wondering therefore whether there are any plans to provide options for content creators (and server hosters) to make money with videos on peertube (other than including advertisements in the videos)?

I think Peertube can never grow when content creators do have the costs of creating, hosting and serving their videos, while at the same time not having a good way to earn money back for their work.

  • The grosest thing I've done is probably that time I had sex with someone who forgot to take out her moon cup after having her period. The smell was "not great".

However, since it was a suprise for both of us it did not have this awful anticipation of having to do something disgusting. We just found out after the fact.

Another good contender was having to clean the shower in the morning after a drunk guy shit in it when we took him home the night before because he was laying in the street and not able to go home by himself.

    Also very smelly.

The guy actually left the house before we woke up, but without his shoes. He also tried to access through the garden, even though that was a garden without access to the road. I still have no idea how he managed to get out of there. He never came back for his shoes. I wonder why!

  • You can't hold 6 year old kids accountable for stupid stuff they do. I totally understand your feelings, but the best thing you can do is just do your best to be a nice person, instead of self-flagellation. So take care of others, but also of yourself. Only give when you have something to give, but also only take what you really need. The hurt and shame might stay, but try to nourish it. Us it as inspiration for being a good person from now on. Feed it with more self-punishment and it will only get heavier, like a stone arouns your neck that's growing and pulling you under. Nobody will be happier when you drown, so don't. Just do your best, that's all you can do ❤️

  • Speak up, tell people what you think and why.

If that doesn't work: something was added to your constitution for this situation, the second amendment. You can use your six shooter to go up to the government's tank and gunships. Good luck.
