Speaking of using other programming languages with Gtk, I've seen https://github.com/diamondburned/gtkcord4 (Discord client written in GTK4 and Golang)

A decent native Qt based e-mail client for one. Kontact/kMail is janky and don't get me started on thunderbloat. Evolution is just perfect and GTK3.

I made some changes to it. I used to work in marketing for a few years in between IT jobs and that might have bled into the article.

I am a real human but I read my post again and I can see why. I made some changes based on the feedback because it does seem like an ad (but I can assure everyone that it is not).

Gnome needs a bunch of extensions to make it look like Windows. I know KDE does a better job, and that Windows 11 might just be a rip off of KDE. However, most of the best apps are based on GTK and not QT. So for myself, I've been using Cinnamon for years.

I let my daughter try all three anyway and she actually liked Cinnamon the most.

I added some of this to my blog article so that future readers can get more background.

No it's not. I might have been posting my blog articles too much so I'm going to stick with 1 per week instead of a bunch per day. I'm also posting other links. I'm not gonna focus on Roy but I do believe I should get the word out.

Kiwi Farms was stalking and enciting hatred towards trans people. They had a body count. I am glad they're offline.

Not a huge problem for me: (1) Never really used wordpad. (2) Used WordPerfect from 1999-2003 (3) Used Open Office and Libre Office since 2003 (4) I use Linux now

Edward Snowden managed to exfiltrate millions of documents because he was in help desk.

I stopped using Twitter when Musk took over. I kept my account for a while but recently I logged in, saw a bunch of alt-right transphobia and racism, and then deleted my account.
