  • @calhoon2005 @CEOofmyhouse56 I bleached my hair in high school once. It turned out okay, but was a real pain to do.

    How'd yours turn out?

  • @Seagoon It might be that some films are only available on there in the US, but not Australia?

  • @Seagoon @melbourne Quiet Saturday night in. Wifey and the fur babies are all fast asleep already.

We ended up having Korean for dinner tonight (instead of last night), it was spicy and delicious.

I've also done the washing for the week and changed the beds.

Next week will be busy. We're going to a concert Tuesday night, and I'm taking Thursday and Friday off. Wifey has a surprise planned for Thursday too.

    Is anyone else around?

  • @Seagoon @melbourne So the hangover fairy visited last night, and I'm never drinking wine again.

    This week.

  • @Catfish @melbaboutown @melbourne What's wrong with lilac undies?

And other than the three packs of different skin tones (why?!?!), what seems silly to me is that every brand has to have a massive logo on the elastic bands these days.

Okay, if it's a designer brand โ€” like Calvin Klein โ€” I can understand. But โ€” say โ€” Bonds is not exactly CK!

  • @Thornburywitch @StudChud The Pinto was a car so awful that it made Ralph Nader a national public figure. But that's a whole different story โ€” we're talking about dodgy cars, and not dodgy election systems that don't have preferential voting.

  • @calhoon2005 @StudChud @melbourne He put up the cash to do it, but it's been Gwynne Shotwell running the show day-to-day, and the really smart engineers and rocket scientists reporting to her who have done all the work.

    Now.

If you want to see what happens when Elon's in charge directly, just look at what's happened to Twitter since he bought it.

  • @CEOofmyhouse56 @StudChud @melbourne Parmas, not parmis.

    And while where at it...

It's a pot of beer, not a schooner.

    It's a potato cake, not a scallop (?!?!).

    It's a freeway, not a motorway.

    They're bathers, not toggs.

The biggest city in Australia is called Melbourne, not Sydney.

And if Teddy Whitten isn't either playing or coaching, then it's not really State of Origin.

  • @Duenan @melbourne Also, Korean take away has been pushed back until tomorrow.

So it's a wine and pizza night ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿท

And we're getting it from the good Italian place

  • @CEOofmyhouse56 Thanks, that's a really great tip ๐Ÿ˜Š

The good news is that the next shade up still works, and most days I only go for fairly light coverage.

  • @Duenan @melbourne I usually go for margherita, and wifey (ironically) gets the bacon cheeseburger.

We've got a really good local Italian, but it's pricey. So whether we go there or Domino's depends on whether it's pay week or not.

  • @Seagoon @melbourne So I stopped by Priceline while I was at the shops to pick up some foundation.

On my way home, I noticed that I got the one that's a shade darker than I normally get.

Then when I got home, I realised that I had made the exact same mistake last time.

The moral of the story? If you're going to be a careless idiot, it pays to at least be consistent.

  • @CEOofmyhouse56 @Duenan @melbourne For wifey and I, it's wine and pizza night every Friday.

(Except tonight of all nights โ€” we're having Korean food for take away.)

  • @Ilandar Most major platforms are based in the US.

A DMCA request basically means the flagged content is taken down globally, not just for the US.

If the person who uploaded that content is not a US citizen, it still gets pulled.
