  • That is in the plans, just need to do it in an app store compliant way

  • You mean, as linked in post or comments? One thing that might work is long press.

  • Would love to be able to link to the comment that made me tag, too.

That should already be there - in the header of the edit tag dialog for the user, tap the comment button. LMK if it isn't working.

searchable modlog instead of just myself

This is in the plans, just need to do it in a way that is apple/google store compliant

If I’m in a thread and accidentally hit back, I have to go back through the list to find that post again. A β€œlast post” or something in the menu would be handy.

There is an issue for forward on github. Otherwise, for the post feed, hiding posts can be a good alternative if you scroll long distances.

A bunch of gifs/videos don’t show/play, but it works in other clients, instead I have to open in a browser. That would be a nice one to hit.

If you have an example of something that doesn't work in Voyager but does work in other clients, please let me know. I'm not aware of anything at the moment.

db0 added some flairs, which are apparently natively supported by lemmy, which is cool.

Neat - although it is not a native lemmy thing afaik.

  • That could be added, can you make a github issue?

  • There is no way to force community metadata at the top, no. Voyager avoids pushing content below the fold, it’s Voyagers design philosophy. You can access that info by opening the sidebar if you like.

This is the best part of Lemmy though, there are lots of apps to choose from to fit your taste.

If just find if jarring because you’re used to another apps UX, I recommend giving it time to get used to.

  • No prob, I'll make a fix for that

  • In Safari, you can press β€œopen with Voyager” in the Share options

  • Thanks, already fixed, just need to get release deployed!

  • Oh.. and the icon source files are here if that helps!

  • Probably just darker flames, IDK. Here's what was done by @fer0n@lemmy.world in the past: https://github.com/aeharding/voyager/pull/1607

Here's the requirements for adding to a build btw:

    1. 1024x1024 PNG
    2. No transparency
    3. (Ideally) dark mode variant
    4. Oh and let me know how to attribute it, like what handle you want for credit in the app icon page

I also recommend to use https://iosfeeds.com/tools/icon-preview to test on the home screen. I added your image above, and it looks like maybe it would show more detail if it was cropped/zoomed in a bit (similar to the main app icon)

  • Hahahaha

I might add… dark mode version too? πŸ€”

  • I don’t know what you are talking about 🀣

  • My issue issue is about how the title 'facts are facts' might mislead, especially on a topic like healthcare, which is already confusing for a lot of people.

Why not ditch the title, and use slides like:

    • Slide 1: "Please help me, I'm dying!"
    • Slide 2: "Of course, but first can you verify your billing address?"
  • I think the meme could give that impression to someone unfamiliar with U.S. healthcare, yes.

  • Hyperbole should be exaggerated beyond what a reasonable person thinks is possible. They shouldn’t mislead. So it’s not a hyperbole if some people might think that people in the US may be outright refused care if they are dying and don’t have insurance. Which is why I commented originally, to clarify that.
