higher prices lead to lower sales volume. yea, that's normally how it works. but amazon's cut is based on price. if prices go up, so does what they earnsteal from each marketplace sale--they'll make more from less business.

agencies keep their data separate for a reason.. well, many reasons. privacy and other laws restrict access to much of it, even from other agencies.
