Oh absolutely. Wasn’t saying it to criticize. I like the app so much that I really hope they come back to develop more.

Just hoping it gets updated again. Development was fast and furious, then it just stopped.

Oh good, now I can play a game I payed for and see some ads. Maybe they’ll add skins in games where some character will wear a Taco Bell shirt or change health potions to “Vitamin Water” bottles

Can’t you do that with admin users vs regular users? Pretty sure you can restrict dashboards by admin vs non-admin

I use the dashboard for a quick overview of my house, devices that are on, status of my home servers (with the ability to remotely put my desktop to sleep), low battery levels, quick toggles for certain modes (vacation mode, Housecleaners mode, guest mode).

It’s all in what you put on the dashboards that makes them amazing extensions of your house.

Appreciate the reply. Perhaps my view of homeschooling is all hyper-religious families who tend to be the evangelical type, as a whole I see that population of people as lacking empathy, critical thinking skills, etc.

I just don’t see the need for homeschooling as it just perpetuates this evangelical religious fervor. Besides, we live in a society of different backgrounds, religions, and ethnicities. Schools are a good place to meet people who are different than you.

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I’m very against homeschooling. It breeds religious zealotry, stunts communal empathy, an open mind, and critical thinking skills.

All this talk about grooming, and that’s what I see homeschooling as (though not really in the sexual sense).

Combined with e-bikes to “flatten” hills and make distance traveling easier, we could really make some amazing improvements to city design.

As a foodie, no way. I couldn’t stand having my choice of foods to be “the Chinese place” or some random diner. Besides, diversity is the spice of life!

Absolutely true. I know a conservative who moved away from a smaller conservative town in CA to a true red state small town and even he was shocked by the casual use of the hard R N-word use.

Memmy has the feature to block instances client side, it doesn’t seem to be working in the latest version. The list keeps clearing out randomly. Sadly blocking a user causes my version to just crash as well.

This is especially bad due to certain instances. It wasn’t so bad on Reddit where they usually limited themselves to a few subreddits, but it’s really off putting to see the nonstop propaganda they spew. So glad LW defederated with that instance.
