  • I get to be gay while doing crimes? Hell yeah

  • Agree. Out of all instances, this seems to be the one that's better for them.

  • I'm sorry, what is going on there?

  • I think the buttons need a small padding between them, feels less weird on the design

  • So the problem are the comments from hexbeart.net users? Maybe this can be changed on a future lemmy version. Defederating seems too extreme.

  • Why don't you just block the hexbear instance? lemm.ee is an instance that rarely defederates from another.

  • As far as I know, the lemmy devs are focusing on releasing the 1.0.0 backend (currently it's 0.19.10). This seems to be a huge change by itself, which will need jerboa to support the 1.0.0 before implementing the general search.

The general search seems to work differently from it's 0.19.10 version, so developing a general search now would cause a re-work to be done once the 1.0.0 is released.

  • I see. Would the spoiler tag also blur the thumbnail?

The only thing that concerns me about handling spoilers is how the third party apps handle them. Do you think it would be a good idea to also blur the entire image (not only the thumbnail) and remove the blur only when the user clicks the image?

  • no fucking way, that's insane hahahahaha

  • but then the user might not realize that there's an image in the post, which will also limit it's reach.

  • Do you guys have plans to add a spoiler tag? I post a lot of memes about tv shows that I watch, but the users complain that the post isn't blurred.

I know I can use the NSFW tag, but this gives the wrong idea and limits the post visibility (since people can hide nsfw posts).

  • print it, and put it on some public space. Like the video of Trump sucking Elon's toes

  • It's been a while since I've done web development. Do you know better alternatives? The lemmy devs could change it for something else.
