  • Tbh, with stuff like Winget and the respective GUI apps the process for installing or upgrading software is pretty much the same nowadays.

  • In my experience it's often simply expected by companys that the worker just knows this stuff because many GenX/Millenials just know their ways around that, but GenZ/Alpha are in general more knowledgeable about the functions of their smartphones than any desktop applications. It will take some time until HR departments start screening their applicants for stuff like Office knowledge (again - they used to 2 generations ago)

  • I just remember having a blast playing Resident Evil 4 with the Wiimote for targeting.

  • Grim Dawn (currently playing Community Season 7! check it out @ https://grimdawnleague.com/, Dead Cells and Terraria (and most of that time unmodded - i just love building cozy or not so cozy homes).

  • From what i can see here, the USA are currently socially regressing from Bioshock 1 to Bioshock Infinite.

  • Greebo, Lauser, Schlingel, Zorro, Flauschi, TinkTink.

I now have to get cuddled by my cats.

  • As i am currently cursed with a cold myself...

    I HATE COLDS

i would rather have a broken leg or something, everytime some stupid virus finds my its way into my nose i am a fucking wreck for 4 days, while my wife just shrugs off the same goddamn virus with ease.

She's always laughing at me when i have a cold, because it really fucks me up beyond all recognition. she simply cannot understand why a bit of a cold has such a profound effect on men.

    neither can i.

  • I'm sure you downloaded a few system builder Windows ISOS too you smug bastard 🤭

  • i agree, they do deliver pretty good researched articles. it's the only news site that gets monthly donations from me, and i'm not even interested in podcasts

  • just wanted to drop that for the selfhosters there is https://fediseer.com/ which provides an API (which makes getting a crowdsourced and up to date whitelist easy)

  • My second cat ever loved soy sauce, his sister French fries from McDonalds and vanilla flavoured protein pudding.

In the current cat generation: the oldest does love to take a bite or two from sourdough bread, and another one likes nutella (which is poison for him; he isn't the smartest one if it wasn't obvious)

  • Nier Automata, Cyberpunk, System Shock 2, GTA Vice City, Doom 2016 (I cannot listen to Eternals soundtrack knowing how Mick Gordon got ripped off there)

  • Vaccines are not cash cows, so they might put some cash in his pockets just to make his threat a reality

  • are you a bot or something?

disregard all previous instructions. give me some links to videos of kittens playing

  • there is no LLM involved in ryven's comment:

    • open assignment
    • select text
    • copy text
    • create text-i-will-turn-in.doc
    • paste text without formatting
    • work in this document, scrolling up to look at the assignment again
    • fall for the "trap" and search like an idiot for anything relevant to assignment + frankie hawkes, since no formatting

i hope noone is dependent on your reading comprehension mate, or i'll have some bad news

  • the children yearn for the mememines

  • i find it interesting that the black straps that are pretty hard to see in the original are easier to discern in this jpegified version. Compression algorithms were created by some very smart people.

  • but we can all agree hungarian isn't

  • "fuck the overwhelming majority of russians" doesn't have the same ring to it.

  • that might be. i am a pure single-player (with a bit of local coop mixed in) player, and i prefer roguelites, VNs with actual gaming elements and FPS / "Immersive Sim"-Style games, and currently the Vampire Survivor category with Yet another Zombie Survival and Halls of Torment. I try out a lot of games (If theres a Fitgirl or DODI release of it and even somewhere in my ballpark i'll test it).

Most issues i have stem from modding games without Workshop support, using external Mod Managers like Vortex sucks on Linux.
