I just block communities I don't care about. It takes some time but eventually it will be a marginal amount of work to get to an All feed that doesn't have a TON of stuff I don't care about.
I'm not really surprised. I feel like Halo has been losing steam for a while and Infinite had the vibe of the devs doing everything popular because it makes money not because they had an awesome idea.
This event is awesome. I would strongly encourage anyone mildly interested to try it out.
