  • What I am saying is the other way round: The revolution is no revolution anymore, EVs have become normal things. Therefore nobody needs any super special niche products, overpriced but lacking most of the qualities that normal cars have - a.k.a. Teslas, anymore.

  • You can passthru the GPU hardware to a qemu VM on proxmox. Proxmox itself will not get in your way, because proxmox is just an administative helper for qemu there. The setup for this passthru is a qemu thing.

I don't know if the same kind of passthru is possible to a docker container.

  • I've been expecting this for a good while.

Rule #1 Never believe his announcements. They may be true or not.

Rule #2 Always assume that most people believe in him and his announcements.

Rule #3 After applying the rules #1 and #2, sometimes you can see what he is trying to achieve with the announcement itself.

Most times it is about inflating his ego. Often it is about pushing (manipulating) the stock market.

So when he recently announced to "be allocating far more of my time to Tesla.” I immediately thought the hell you want to donate them your oh so precious time, again, suddenly (there would even be admitting a fault in it if he actually did), no you just want the stocks to stay up. And so I concluded that he doesn't feel like taking responsibility at Tesla anymore.

  • Here you do not own it. The owner can request it back. But you can't be bothered to walk to the post office and pay for shipping it back. So you have to keep it available for him to (come or send someone and) pick it up. At least 3 weeks iirc, unless it is perishable goods. Then you can throw it away. If he does not request it back, then you own it after some time (I forgot how long, half a year maybe).

  • Throw it away
If you opened it, and do not wish to keep it, you may simply dispose of it in the garbage, as long as it is safe to do so.

    Keep it
If you opened it and you like it, you may keep it. By law, you may keep unsolicited merchandise and are under no obligation to pay for it.

Note that this may be correct only in Usa. Different in other countries.
