Can you explain your complaint a bit more? I'm trying to figure out just what you mean with your comment, but all I can see out of it is "reddit sucks". Which... yeah, but in this instance why?
If it were labeled a trial account, not a free account, I might agree. But i think it's more for harvesting contact details and hoping for a paid subscription down the line.
Isn't the implication that he's saying Tesla will fail if America fails, not that America will fail if Tesla fails? He's basically saying he has tied his fortunes to America's future, not necessarily the other way around.
But your "fair and balanced" puts all the onus of clean up on the next person. Kind of like how parking far to one side of a parking spot puts all onus of creating enough space for people to get out of their car on the next person.
It's passing the buck because you can't be bothered to clean up after yourself.
As someone who used to take care of office supplies (I was in accounting, btw) because everyone in the office is lazy and doesn't wanna deal with complex things like grounds and filters.
The Orville had that in the first season or so, after that it went heavy into serialization. I dont think I even finished whatever the last season was because of it.
Battlestar Galactica. Like a lot of the shows people have been mentioning, all it did was raise the stakes every episode. It didn't feel like it was building anything meaningful, just building up to something.
The most meaningful example of this (spoilers for like a twenty year old show) for me was when they're in the ship looking for water or whatever and the human cylon just ignores the indicator saying "Water here! Check here!" and the scene just. keeps. going. I swear it felt like half the episode.
I miss when shows could just grow in the first season or two, and then you'd only get raising stakes two or three times a year (season finale/premier and sweeps). Otherwise they're just stories.
These days shows have to justify themselves right out of the gate.
If you let them define your politicians by a single issue, you will only exacerbate your problems.
