That's not the statistic I've seen. It was in the 30s last I saw. Among Republicans it was still fairly high, like 60s, and higher among MAGA, but the general public was much lower. Can you cite a recent source for your number? Otherwise, I'll bolo for some updated numbers.

They invited all the presidents. You try to bring in those with the power to change things and convince them that their actions have meaning, even symbolic ones. So, they probably tried his first term. It's clear now that he doesn't care and is in no way willing to help. I suspect that the reason they're not inviting him goes beyond that. They're making a statement. They're signalling to those who support their mission.

I agree, but there's a difference between oversight and law enforcement there. If I am telling someone they need to justify restrictions in a behavior plan, that's different than something for which someone else may be arrested. In the former example, I think they should be able to wear an N95 for health reasons.

If I don't have my kids with me, I do. I don't crash into them, but I stop when I get to them and make them go around. The lack of courtesy of some people needs to be challenged. It's mostly people in their early 20s in my experience, but I'll wait out whoever. Tired of this shit.
