A lot of American porn is just degrading towards women. It's either about making them look dumb, or as sluts or as objects (" free use" porn), or some crazy perversion to making them look like underage 🔞 teens. It's all bad/toxic; the mainstream porn industry.

Also all of a sudden 30 year old adult film stars are somehow classified as MILFs now a days.

The porn industry is all around ugly ( at least in US ) and should really be ran by women mostly. Also deserves government intervention so that human trafficking doesn't happen like it did with this "girls do porn" monsters.

A lot of American male porn actors have been found guilty of sexual abuse as well. We just don't hear about it in mainstream news.

Well one time he was talking about a trans woman who was doing sports and was all like " 😐 omg, did you hear her voice? " Remarks like that said off handedly make me believe he an a-hole at the least.

I just didn't like him and or his guests discussing trans issues as if they knew anything about being trans.

If You're going to discuss something like that; and then televise it and or put it on the Internet; I'd think You'd have a heart not to make it offensive and or provocative. But that's what it felt like from Ho Rogan. Soo...

But I just don't take any of it too personally. I try to be more of an observer than a reactor.

Mostly comparing it to reddit... I feel in general that Lemmy is more toxic because I almost always see people get downvoted for no good reason. Sometimes there is no reply and or comment to why they're downvoting the other person.
