  • It's more like "being a plague rat or being a muskrat."

  • after 50 years of Kiss, the band is now interested in a kind of digital immortality.

    ...This feels like a punishment..

  • President Drink Bleach

Umm excuse me, but he also said we could cure COVID by sticking UV flashlights up our butts.

  • It may have been a pointless debate but I thoroughly enjoyed this burn from Newsom; "The one thing we have in common is neither of us will be our party's nominee in 2024.

  • He was great. The Serge A. Storm series is pretty twisted in the funniest ways possible without feeling overly dark. Although full disclosure, I’ve only read the first 9 novels in the series but back around 2007 that was all of them.

To be honest I hadn’t thought about Tim Dorsey in years and had no idea he continued adding to the series as recently as this past February but there’s apparently 26 books total now! So I can only recommend the first nine but wouldn’t be surprised if they’re all great.

If you give it a shot I’d suggest looking up the chronological order on Wikipedia because the first five novels jump around in the timeline and it can be a little confusing.

  • I like to think if there were a dog-lemmy they'd be sharing this exact same meme and saying "humans really are the best."

  • Remember when Steven Crowder had a complete meltdown because his wife didn't need his permission to file for divorce from his abusive-ass? This is the average conservative mindset. They hate that women have autonomy. It's why they're doing everything they can to elect people that will reverse women's rights. I don't blame women at all for refusing to date or marry these misogynistic losers.

  • Heads up, these are the same ones they announced were found earlier in the month, this article is just three weeks old.

  • The letter added that open-door proceedings “would prevent selective leaks, manipulated transcripts, doctored exhibits, or one-sided press statements.”

And that’s exactly why they aren’t going to allow him to testify publicly.

  • No, I gave that up because I didn’t like all the reading. But I have several friends who are, and still take an interest in law in general. Also, law still plays a significant role in my career.

lmao dude you've already said you didn't know U.S. Attorneys are a federal position. You don't even understand the basic facts of the arguments you're trying to make.

  • And now she’s a podcaster. Her career is really blossoming.

Just so we're all on the same page, this is all their comment said before they got buried in downvotes and started editing multiple times to try and dig their way out while pretending to have been making reasonable point the whole time.

  • Comments from a podcaster.

Her name is Joyce Vance and she was the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Alabama from 2009 to 2017.

  • It's just the source is non credible

What are you basing that claim on? Because it's patently false. They're a highly credible source with a clean fact-check record.

So stop making things up. I actually know the sources I share on Lemmy are credible and will back it up every single time people try to start making up lies and shouting "fake news" because they don't like the headline of an article I've posted.

  • I highly doubt the person you're replying to read the article I posted, nor did they actually do any additional research, as claimed, before deciding that this was "*fAkE nEwS." Because you're right, the sources of the boycotts are clearly cited in the article.

  • They’re also mad at Froot Loops right now.

  • Yeah, but you'd have to actually read the article to know that.
