  • Unchilled Tab-Water and filling bottles in the bathroom. Some drinking fountains are publicly available but more of a novelty and none usually not inside of buildings.

I don't know about others, but getting hydrated isn't an issue here. It's rarely significant above 30°C even in summer (and if max 2 months) and our water in my city is of such "high quality" they bottle and sell it. (Aqua di Monaco).

  • The most extreme untreated generational trauma in full swing and Netanjahu utilizes it like Putin. Just start a war when the public isn't on your side any more.

I don't blame Israel, I blame Netanjahu and his Oligarchy to steer the Media and the Public into a killing frenzy akin to Nazi Germany. Just listen to them... the enemy isn't human any more. (As are Palestinians to Israelis, or Jews to Nazis, or Ukrainians to Russians...)

  • And if you venture forth into their support pages you can take a tour through different Microsoft design phases of the last two decades. When everything looks Windows XP/Xbox360... you have gone too far.

  • Wanted to but got red pilled into:

    • financial burden = the quality of life I want to offer my child(ren) can't be reached, even compromising.
    • psychological damage = my ability to raise a healthy child is high but not high enough, I don't want to raise another drone like me whose self worth is coupled to their productivity in society.
    • ecological damage = another human
    • emotional damage = I would break to know my child will suffer. The rise of racism, climate change, war... I don't want to raise meat for the meat grinder.

Long story short, there are many points on the list, but at this stage I don't trust humanity with my offspring. Everything else could be sorted out.

  • I feel like it’s 2000 all over again on the Internet. The bloat has made pages borderline unusable, and using AdBlock or NoScript reverts any so-called "design progress" back to the good old HTML days.

Google is only semi-useful now, while pages like DuckDuckGo are starting to deliver results reminiscent of the old Yahoo or Lycos days.

It feels like my trusty, old-school Internet skills are helping me navigate this mess. The reemergence of usenet / groups feels inevitable.
