You and me both. 😟 Even as I was hearing the jackboots marching closer and closer from around the corner, friends would tell me that I was overreacting and overthinking things. Friends who are now panicking because they're somewhere that can be actually hurt by the USA tearing itself apart from within (Canada).

Trump and Musk and that entire coterie was never the cause of the USA's problems. They're symptoms of the problems.

The VW bug got big because it was a decent car at an affordable price.

Looking at the URL, yes, there's a very simple pattern to Kaptain Ketamine's broken promises: if he opens his mouth he's lying.

What stood out for me was this line:

Robust labour rights? An American is talking about "robust labor rights"!? If someone from the EU had written that I'd have gone "fair enough". But against an American employer?
