Men in their 40s, what’s one piece of advice for men in their 20s?

  • Yeah regarding the drinking alone; it's an easy escape from whatever is happening right now (45+ yrs here). Not an alcoholic but I definitely have a bad habit (that's what all alcoholics say, right?) during non work hours to disconnect (not sure from what to be honest..life?)

    • What are the major world news that you got from weird sources (and maybe wish you had heard first from legit news sources)?

  • Same for me, 19-20 years old working in a small IT department (i.e. lots of scrolling slashdot). Remember going out telling some people in the corridor outside my small office and noone believed me as Swedish news sites had not updated yet

  • Very much the same for me. I don't enjoy getting up early but my brain works best if I get to the office at 7ish for some reason. After lunch I basically roll down hill. I seldomly feel any will do do any coding after having spent 8h doing just that

  • As a Swede I can tell you it's pronounced "blåhaj"; no biggie ;)
