  • I had an hard time igonring the slight delay at animations when using it on my phone. I'm usually use it on PC though.

  • I can't remember why I skipped thunder, I think it's because it doesn't autoplay gifs without opening it.

    Also, whenever I opened it I saw it connect to so many servers that it made me worried a bit (probably overthink it), but it's not the home screen itself because obviously liftoff for example shows the same and doesn't connect to the same servers thunder did.

    Edit: maybe liftoff pull the content from my instance while thunder take it straight from the source?

  • Jerboa doesn't autoplay gifs (or didn't when I used it), that what made me stick to liftoff and I don't regret it.

  • I still don't care about cookies + block EU cookie filter list works great for me. It even deals with this annoying YT cookie screen. And if I visit often and something dodged those, I just block it manually. Must sites don't update the elements often (or never lol)

  • Yeah i guess, but I still didn't see any promt on yt for years now. I guess uBO and yt enhancer just deals with all this crap automatically.

    It does work well on most of the other sites.

  • I never even knew they suggest those with prompts. I use librewolf/Mull+uBO+yt enhancer for years so I guess it just filter those out. Also, you can convert short to regular videos so that's cool too

  • Use portmaster and rethinkdns to use those filter lists no matter which DNS you choose (I use dnscrypt BTW)
