Thanks for sharing a video to emulate the effect of really bad internet connection. Reminds me of the good times when images take a whole minute to finish loading!

Nintendo is well-known for using emulation in its own products, such as “Virtual Console” releases and the “NES/SNES Classic”. They just don’t like people playing their games in ways they didn’t decide on.

FOSS lightweight ”virtual machine” (it’s not quite a VM but it’s similar conceptually. It’s much lighter on your system than a VM).

Easy to install, setting it up for your use case may take some coding if it isn’t common (bash scripting experience will help).

If you do every sidequest you will be massively overleveled.

It’s not that Take Two bought the game, they bought the publisher of the game. The devs wanted to submit an update, which they normally would do by sending it to their publisher. But now their publisher no longer exists, so they send they want to send their update to Take Two, but apparently some red tape is in the way.

Idk what the “learning curve” is. It’s not really harder to use than Photoshop for basic things IMO. If you want fancy AI tools Photoshop is better but GIMP does have some.
