The pertinent lesson to be learned here is that democracy (especially non compulsory voting democracy) is about engagement. It's not just about political conversation (although that's important too) but getting out and doing something. Don't just assume someone will do the hard yards for you. Register and go out and get others to register. If necessary join a political organisation that reflects your politics or start one. Be involved in local politics. In short: get off your arse and do something.

I think it's time to dox these right wing nutjub cookers. If they think it's okay to remove our society's provisions for free speech and helpful information we should be allowed to rock up to their homes, places of work etc and lambast them.

Look, feel your pain (I'm serious, I'm in the middle of a couple of root canals) but the solution isn't just technology. You need a public health framework to drive down the price gouging.

If you'd been paying attention you'd notice that since 2014 the Ukrainians have been modernising their political and military. The previous governments were infamously corrupt and were dislodged by a popular uprising. This government has made great strides to uproot systemic corruption. It's not perfect but they are certainly improving and need to be encouraged in this and their efforts to dislodge the Russian invaders. Simply parroting Russian talking points (eg: corruption) will not do.
