  • We have our team wiki on Onenote, but I don’t think you can track who’s edited. I’ve also had a couple of Onenote pages that just crashed for no reason and the IT team couldn’t even recover any of it. So if you are going to use Onenote, maybe have some sort of backup just in case. My previous job had everything on SharePoint and it worked quite well.

  • Cutting back down my work at work days to 2 days a week. 3 days a week was too much and I don’t need to impress anyone any more (been at the new job for 3 months and I figured that’s long enough to show I can fit in the team and do my work )

  • My partner gets his from the outdoor shops for hiking & daily wear and the thin & synthetic ones are some of the best ones. I have the same ones but female version. I guess the point is, not all thin & synthetic materials are made equal. Hope that makes sense.

  • Maybe they don’t have one. I don’t have a toaster because 1. I don’t eat toasts that often and 2. Can never fully clean a toaster and that’s gross. When I want toasts, I put them in my airfyer.

You could make toasts in a frypan or oven if you couldn’t find the toaster

  • It is worse in a lot of way haha. But I would never go back to consulting! Depends on which gov department and who from the department you deal with, your experience could be very different!

Btw I remember you were waiting for your PR? Any updates on that ?

  • All my phones are permanently on silent. I used to get people calling me on teams while I was in a meeting and keeps calling till I msg them I’m busy 🤯

My current job has a few meeting free days! And they are the best !

  • A 4 season tent, insulated sleeping mat with extra foam mat underneath, a winter temp rated down sleeping bag, extra warm liner (some could add a few extra degrees), Merino base layer to sleep in, or/ and a down jacket to sleep in if feeling extra cold and a beanie. And plenty of food before bed!
