  • If they opened outward, they'd block egress in the hallway, which would have equal or more traffick than any single room connected and will enough people in the hallway, you wouldn't be able to open the door to escape at all.

  • As far as I know, my sperm donor doesn't have a huge family. All it takes is your one sibling to take a genetics test to no longer be an anonymous sperm donor. Same applies here. It just takes one.

  • Boss gifted me lotion once. Was kinda amusing in that it sorta was an insult, but like I sometimes bleed from how bad my skin sometimes gets so it's not like it's some secret. I think she also apologized in case it was weird.

  • There's always the grey market for getting raws. Of course most individuals probably don't have access to the tools and knowledge to verify purity and going from raws to safe and accurately dosed medicine is another problem. But many people were already going that route anyways before this.

  • My state pays $20/day. The last time I was summoned, the estimated cost of the commute using the IRS average is $35 (granted, that's a high estimate) and not reimbursed or compensated. Also the $20 is taxed. So it effectively cost me money to go to jury duty in my old county even before accounting for lost wages.

  • Risk that something might have happened is a good enough reason for audits/recounts should be done in time to fix the election outcome, but they're not evidence that such hacks were successfully used. They just provide a mechanism that makes it possible.
