"Micro" just means "small" in this case and doesn't mean "microscopic" or have anything to do with "micrometer".

The definition of "microplastic" according to NOAA: "Microplastics are small plastic pieces less than five millimeters long".

I can't imagine Yang supporting Musk on much of anything. The headline is just intended to force people to read by making a blatantly incorrect claim.

This kind of thing is intended to draw outrage away from the other horrible things that he's actually doing. If they talk about things that everyone agrees are insane, then back off, they spread the outrage around and get less pushback on their real agenda.

Anyway, that's my theory.

I highly doubt that Amazon is dumb enough to ask people to volunteer their time for free. There are way tooany ways that ends in lawsuits. HR and the lawyers would put a stop to that faster than you can say "wage theft".

I've worked jobs where, at times of peak business, office staff were asked to volunteer for paid shifts rather than hire more people for a very short time. It's not weird or malicious, it's fairly normal.

"Volunteer" doesn't always imply "work for free".

You know, I get it, they're probably just an asshole. Maybe they're having an emergency, though. How about just letting them get around in case there is a good reason for driving recklessly? Or maybe just in case they're nuts enough to make things violent?

Come on, no one is this dumb. The senators knew they'd do this from the moment they voted to confirm. This is just premeditated political backtracking to fix as much damage as they can now that they've received their reciprocal favors.

Okay, I didn't look at the image closely enough. Yes, definitely AI. The knobs look like they're melting. The buttons are all off-kilter. Non of the text is actual text, just AI blurs.

Everyone is saying it's a washer. Couldn't it be a gas dryer? The combination makes a little sense if they're both gas appliances. Maybe many apartments only have one gas line and this is the easiest and cheapest way to install a dryer. Add it where there is already gas for the stove.

And to the extent that they are actually following the federal law, regardless of its constitutionality.
