  • When I was a kid, there was a phase where everyone was obsessed with red flannel. Went on for like 3 months.

Imagine a pro dominantly black/Latino school in the hood where we're all dressing up like Al Borland from Home Improvement.

  • Sometimes I wonder if instead of being angry and fighting, just make out.

Boxers? Stop it. Less jabs, more smooches.

Rival footballers? Come on bro. Kiss the opposing team.

Enemy combatants? Stop using firearms, and give your enemy a fire in their pants.

  • Was invited to a Dave And Busters as a bachelor's party. It was so ridiculously corny. It was a gift from the groom's dad. The groom didn't have any other ideas, so this was it.

All the plastic instrument games were broken. Half of the fighting games had a broken joystick.

Honestly we could have just got a raspberry pi and some emulation games, and get drunk in the backyard.

  • I think the opportunity is better this time around.

Democrats and Republicans secured a two party system and locked everyone else out because of a few things:

    1. Finances and resources.
    2. Media coverage. During debates, they had secret handshake deals to only argue against each other, which forces media to only cover them.

Musk got resources. He spent a lot to get Orange Man in power. And TV and news is already lower on the trust scale, as the population leans towards social media.

There's a few other issues like local/state elections that won't be friendly to non-Democrat/non-republican parties.

Of course, this is all a pipe dream and like the libertarian party, it'll quickly get thrown aside and the politicians will fold into one of the two parties.

  • I remember HS history was incredibly neutered. It was still America is Heroes. There were small cracks, like Japanese internment camps. Or the Trail of Tears. But they had a single paragraph or two. I remember reading about the Vietnam war and how people "feel" about it.

Only during college did I read about real history. Things like our meddling in the Philippines. Our meddling in South America. Our meddling in Southeast Asia after WW2. Not to mention real American history, like Black Wall Street.

The worse is that the text books are owned by conservatives, so expect even more neutering/white washing. Combined with religious folks hating modern education and homeschooling, and we got ourselves some backwards ass folks.
