  • Also Brooklyn is named after Breukelen. Vancouver was named after Van Coevorden. Tasmania was named after Abel Tasman.

It's almost as if the Netherlands used to be relevant in world exploration

  • I thought I saw Zampella from Respawn saying stuff about it. All we need is for it to be Titanfall x Battlefield 3

Edit: It adds up to what one might call classic Battlefield, but bigger — big enough that it merits the efforts of four separate studios in DICE, Motive, Ripple Effect, and Criterion (Ridgeline Games was briefly part of its development before being shuttered after founder Marcus Lehto's departure). EA CEO Andrew Wilson claims it's one of the "most ambitious projects in [EA's] history."

  • I found the formula got a bit old after a while. The lyrics felt more profound in the beginning, but after a while it just felt like it was throwing synonyms for feeling bad in very similar tracks.

  • Something like Ryzen 5 / high i5/low i7 with 4060Ti or 6800XT/7700XT. I think you'll be better off going a bit higher than that. But then again, a pc does more than just gaming so if you would want it just to game with a console has better optimisation for lower price.

  • I have three young girls. Every now and then, this huge orange male comes in. My cats are nowhere to be seen if Orange Joe shows up.

I can't imagine yours enjoys it but probably just rolls with it because it's too much of a bother to fight it.

  • For sure. I just think there are many talented young drivers that have proven themselves to be capable in F1 machinery that did not get this preferential treatment. Lawson did a decent job for VCARB, Hadjar has shown he's a top contender in F2, Martins is finding his footing again, Doohan is finally getting his seat.

There is so much talent that either has to wait for a seat like this or never gets the chance. Look at the performances Russell had to put in in a really subpar Williams and he reluctantly got a chance when Lewis was out sick. Now he's matching a 7 time WDC.

I would not be surprised if Antonelli exits after 30 races and Mercedes chalking it up to bad luck, the car or lack of experience.

  • I totally agree but I suppose you have to note that at the time, it was somewhat unique.

That said, pop music has been bland since the 70s. Rock has dominated the charts for decades and anything remotely experimental is just called 'noise' by boomers who just seem to want more of the same.

The surge of dance music is a breath of fresh air that has become the same issue, but now affecting the next generation.
