like I am gonna say Happy Holidays instead of Merry Christmas. The guy in the $4,000 suit. COME ON!
Idk why you are down voted. He made deals with famous websites/sellers, PPPs. And Lula's government never was far left. Lula always tried to satisfy both parties. He does politics very well in that sense, better than any other president. That's where's Haddad's enters with recent programs. Who benefited the most from the car discount? Cars up to 120k. The max property value of housing program went from 200k to 400k. Why the government is giving subsidy to people in the middle/upper class?
Graças a Deus comprei meu RPi 4b na pandemia. Paguei só os 600 com case, cartão de memória 64gb, fonte e cabo HDMI.

Understandable as the subject may be super sensitive to some, even triggering to others. Throughout the last year I was in your place due to a family case of it. It may help to block some communities and stay in super family friendly communities/websites. Stay safe and healthy.
I am in the same position too. I mean, the appeal is having a config to redo everything if something goes wrong. Unlikely a debian/arch machines that I setup that I had no idea how I got there and what I can or can't install/uninstall, lmao.
Brazil's consumers rights department listed itens prices so stores can't fake advertise them. Countries with regulations: ok, we can do Black Friday, but...
I tried NixOS and was quite frustrating when I needed community help / documentation. I guess that's the aspect of "the new arch", the community will go "not my problem fix it yourself". I've seen some good tutorials on YT popped up since then, so I'll try it again once I get college vacation. It's hard for me as a non programmer/psychology student. My field doesn't overlap with programming not by a little, lmao. I think you need to recommend nix and have the way people need to do things. Like, a nix flake? You can get it to work 100 ways, and nix uses its own language and way of declaring things. That's one thing that made me go "I just need to have a working system and I have a Arch install script done". I like to fiddle around with things, but when you are stuck with something and there isn't a clear path to do it, it gets frustrating. The 100 ways to 1 thing makes copycat difficult, because you have to copy the same person, which will not have all the needs for you, or find people that did their config the same way (which is really hard). Like, overlays, packaging programs, making modules, even Arch had a "this is how you get things done" wiki. I really think Nix and NixOS is really good and I will try it out again in some months.
The kind of father I am going to be, lmao. Saying batshit so my children think that I am actually insane, while having the ability to provide to the family and keep a good life. I think this is one of the most fatherly skills. A dad can come up to a son and say things like "led lightbulbs are bad, they don't warm the room like the old ones" (my dad actually said that, while working with electrical engineering).
IMO, rectangle phone screens are the most boring screens in existence. It's literally a rectangle and always a rectangle every time... And everyone hold it around watching the exact same shit happening inside the perfectly constructed rectangle. It's the same thing, over and over. Not only that but millions of people say they love their phone, but they don't even post, just stare at a glowy rectangle and watch people in a rectangle posts around. You can't define a more boring screen than that. At the very bare minimum, to spice things up, how about introducing some goddamn obstacles randomly placed in the rectangle. Add some actual dynamic scenarios that keep the owners on their toes and trying to come up with new strategies.
Good to see your input and how many people agree with it. I kinda agree, I am one of those jerks that will pray for open source alternatives, lmao, not so for paid or social media. Still being part of majority, I agree with you. I kinda miss the christian memes from reddit, it used to take the bible and interpret in some way, not as it was written.
As somebody said, lemmy have instances. I don't think we are in the need to make more, but idk about that and it's just an opinion. I think the next step is creating communities that a lot of people miss from reddit but feel they wouldn't be welcomed due to existing communities and the current mindset in Lemmy instances.
Thanks for the comment and saying what a lot of us have been wanting to say.
I used to host my Minecraft server safely 😭 don't know any trusted VPN that has Port Forwarding

Nowadays Arch is pretty straight forward. You have gui installers like any other distro. I never broke my Arch install in 3+ years using it.
Yeah. That and you cut so many important parts of meeting your partner. This is a easy shortcut for people with low social skills. Cutting important parts of meeting someone, and being already in the I like you let's X, usually ends poorly. You see some successful stories here and there, but there sre millions dating through apps.

Here, the government has a service that you go to and somebody tries to solve the issue for you (like a costumer support). The lady called Samsung, they had her on hold, and then returned basically saying "sue us". She was surprised because the companies tend to reason when the government service calls to solve the issue, because the next step to solving it is a lawsuit. It was a journey with Samsung.
Dude, I had just moved, putting everything inside a cooler with ice in the summer. Delaying a fridge for almost a month was terrific. All this information made to the judge. If he thought this was a fair amount, I would mind a little more tho.
Something something they don't go past the 3rd floor, but my address the whole time was 5th floor. The delivery was 2 weeks late and the delivery guy knocked on my door asking if I was going to carry the fridge, even though I had paid them to do that.
This would make they pay more for a lawsuit in a country that takes consumer protection seriously, lol. Samsung had to pay me 5k(35% to the lawyer) because they refused to deliver a fridge on my apartment. They delayed the delivery, had me hours on hold, insult and tried to fright me whenever they talked to me. The fridge was 4,5k and it got done within 10 months. So good luck to Mac Donald's.
