It sounds like what you meant to ask was more about interoperability between different platforms
You hit it spot on. Exactly what I mean. I wish there was more and during my first time in lemmy back at july I've seen a few mastodon accounts being able to communicate here however we weren't able to directly influence mastodon or pixelfed.
Yeah the hashtags reach out to really any instance that is atleast related to Mastodon. I've seen a few misskey.io ones and a few others i forgot the names to but they both share alot
That is a crazy thought really. Us being able to communicate. I always really love to see the @ handles for some instances as it brings on this togetherness and uniqueness that no other site (or really protocol) gives me. Honestly kinda weird some apps prefer to hide that instance label rather than show it.
Yeah i just wish those lemmy capabilities can spread to even mastodon users or really just a better interface that is designed to simplify the user interface compared to how badly handled lemmy communities are displayed in mast.
Between Linux Mint for its reliability and ease of use and Gentoo for just being really nice to use overall with a ton of the control linux is well known for.
