  • As much as they can be annoying sometimes, I'd rather they be here than not. We should be very careful with who we defederate and what or else it could really kill the momentum we have and the beauty of being able to communicate with other users. I rather enjoy when an instance respects my responsibility of me as a user on whether I see what content and how. It doesn't matter if it its a mod or an algorithm. I want to see hexbear users whenever I see fit and not let someone else decides for me.

  • I feel like the point of that video though was to point out how a common user using linux would just make these kind of mistakes which do happen and are legitimate. That's one of the reasons why I enjoy Linux Mint so much really. Simple to use and not too much of a hassle while also slightly helping you understand some of the easier aspects of Linux.

  • Hoping that works out!

  • just make an account on dbzero and use that.

  • You put it in a much better way really now that I really think about it. Thanks

  • Imagine wanting a tip for doing the bare minimum at your job.

I guess gas comes free where you're from.

  • Thanks actually. I always forget that honestly

  • You can just simply search community you want with the instance their in specifically. example being: @memes@lemmy.world

  • They're still posting about this stupid shit? I blocked memes a long time ago and I'm so glad I did. It's garbage from reddit spread over to here and I'm not capturing that again. I should just start telling people as a tip to just "block memes@lemmy.world specifically"

  • .world is already becoming a sore spot. neat

  • Dark Brandon

  • She did technically die on welfare.

  • Its reactionary bullshit. Republicans have just become the "anti-democrats"

  • I don't blame you for being a cynic really. We had the last election last year I believe and we had our chance and chose to vote him back in. Now he's doing all this shit and pretty much ruining the state as we know it.

  • I'll give you one better:

doas emerge --sync && emerge -uDN @world

    :)

  • Don't go to !memes. Thats all really. Block the community because thats where 99% of the circlejerk comes from (and app shaming somehow??)
