What exotic science fiction technology would you finance research into, if you had billions of dollars?

    But that's also the only thing anyone have found against him. And he have singlehanded brought anti aging research into our history.

  • Well yes, but a) the immune system gobbles up bad cells, but becomes less efficient as it ages b) point mutations accumulate with age => increases the risk of cells going haywire.

  • Bought a (two actually) donkey kong game & watch for some 20-30€ each, with the box (quite used) manual etc. goes for maybe 150 now.

    Missed out on an old curtas for like 200-300 though 🥲 such a beautiful mechanical piece with such a history behind it, if I get rich one day I'll definitely get one.

  • Did it a couple of times til I got a 10€ plan almost unlimited (186GB/month IIRC).

    Ask for the Rio number and you get a good plan prolonged indefinitely, that was how it worked out for me anyways!

  • If someone on my instance checks out a post with one of your photos, it will be downloaded to the pictrs folder on my server, and then served to the user. This is how Lemmy works.

    I don't see how your boost can manage to delete it from there.
