  • I like this one better. It has the seats and more believable controls.

  • Budgeting won't get you a house. Earning an unusually high amount of money (and that amount keeps growing) gets you a house eventually, if you still budget when you get that income.

The way I learned it is, most people who make a budget forget the value of fun. Make sure your bills are covered, save what you can, and also set aside some money for fun.

Paying a streaming service subscription, buying a little something to eat or drink when meeting with friends, buying fun gadgets you can enjoy, and buying hobby supplies would all be worthwhile uses of money set aside for fun.

  • Disagreeing with the consensus of the post and the comments. When the post has an agenda or a viewpoint that every comment so far heartily agrees with, I just move on and let the little echo chamber echo.

  • Bold of you to assume that everyone knows movies and shows aren't real.

  • Haha yeah, that would be great! A nice bit of satire. Maybe the story would look a bit less romantic if the exotic location were replaced by a motel in a small town with redneck bro-country music telling the story.

  • Oh wow! Those songs could certainly tell the story of seeing 3 men in 3 nights

  • Having worked on small scale manufacturing, I'd translate that to, "you're expected to do the job of 3-4 people, each order will be different from the last, and any customer concerns will be directed back to you."

Working closely with all those people could go two ways. Either they will be constantly interrupting your work to check on progress and quality, to change details of the job, and to generally hover over your shoulder, or, they will be very supportive with answers to any questions you may have and making sure you have the tools and knowledge to do the job to the customer's specifications.

Edit: Also, climbing the ladder in a smaller company involves a lot of the 1 or 2 people in charge liking you, your style of working, and your personality

  • It has me thinking of American Pie.

  • Idk, it kind of makes sense to me that Godzilla would have 4 eyes. Better 360 vision that way, but with the ability to close the rear eyes for more focused forward vision.

  • Ah, so that's what you're up to

  • I'm sure these sites can't do anything at all ever to make any impact at all on this issue.

unless they're okay with nudging their profit margins downward to get it done

  • It is unusual and comes off similar to the way yelling your name in casual conversation would.

What to do about it is up to you.

If professional trademark is what you're going for, I'm thinking you're on the wrong site. LinkedIn might be more your style.

  • Oh! I misunderstood. I thought that was sarcastic, and spent a lot of time looking for something spelled wrong, haha

    Thanks!
